About
It is located near the city of Anina and represents the first man-made lake in Romania, built on limestone in 1908, for the water supply of the city of Anina.
Its touristic value is primarily due to the natural setting of the site. Lake Buhui is surrounded by a beautiful fir forest mixed with beech.
