Cozla Cabin (The Pearl of the Danube Gorge) is situated in a picturesque area on the banks of the Danube, offering a spectacular view of the gorge carved by the river into the mountains on the Danube Gorge, approximately 60 km from Orșova and 30 km from Moldova-Noua. It is located in a quiet area, with mountain views, making it the ideal place to forget about the daily routine and relax!
Cozla Cabin ensures a discreet retreat in the comfort of its 6 available rooms, along with a dining room, a billiards room, and a table tennis area. Each room is modernly equipped to provide the comfort you need, including a balcony, modern furniture with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower cabin, and towels. We offer our guests access to a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, consumables, etc.), barbecue, pontoon, terrace, etc. The mountain-specific architecture, the clean mountain air, and the surroundings make this cabin a perfect location for relaxation and intimacy.
The cabin provides direct access to both the Danube and the mountains.
You can fish in the excellent and favorable area where various fish species are found: catfish, pike, perch, carp, and crucian carp.
You can swim, take boat rides on the Danube, or hike on mountain trails, as there are several waterfalls in the Sirinia River area.
A short excursion in the surroundings for picking strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or mushrooms, a bike ride, or a trip to:
- The Statue of Decebalus, in the area of the Cazanele Mici waterfalls (Mraconia Bay), on the left bank of the Danube, where the river's depth is the greatest: 120 meters.
- Not far from the Statue of Decebalus, on the Serbian bank, at the exit from Cazanele Mici, nearly 2000 years old, is the Roman memorial plaque "Tabula Traiana."
- The remains of the Trikule fortress at the entrance to Svinita commune.
- The "Portile de Fier" Natural Park.
- The "Cazanele Dunarii" Natural Reserve.
- East of the Iron Gates, near the city of Drobeta-Turnu Severin, is Trajan's Bridge.
