The Dry Ponor Cave

If you arrive at Cheile Minișului, make a stop at the Cârșa waterfall, located just 14 km from Anina, over the Miniș river, on the left side. The waterfall is fed by rainfall, which is why it can sometimes dry up temporarily during the summer. However, it has an impressive waterfall of about 30 meters, which spills over the limestone rocks that hide one of the many caves that can be found on the Minișului Gorge.
