The Suspension Bridge from Şopotu Nou

The tourist route that passes by the Suspended Bridge starts from where Nera makes a 90 turn, going towards Lacul Dracului. After about an hour's walk, on the bank of the Nera is Poiana Meliugului, also called Poiana lui Trifu, on the right is the last farm on the route. Here, the road forks, one going left on the Suspension Bridge and the second continuing straight ahead, but both reaching the lake.

The road on the Suspended Bridge is quite special, always climbing and reaching a clearing with fruit trees, near the Untan Mill. Cross the water, enter the forest on a steeply uphill path and then reach a crossroad where you can see the sign to Lacul Dracului.
