About

The village was born in 1828, when German settlers, known as "Pemi", originally from Bohemia, settled in this place, naming it Wolfsberg, translated as "Wolf Mountain".

In recent years, the village has become famous for holding the Jazz Festival, an event that takes place annually during the summer in the Banat village, bringing together famous jazz singers for a few days.

Tourists have the opportunity to visit the Village Museum and see the authentic way of life of Pemi families, who chose the Banatul Montan, almost two centuries ago.
