Herculane Baths

Herculane Baths

About

One of the most famous Banat destinations, Herculane Baths Resort, stood out worldwide for its thermal waters that date back to the period of the Roman occupation.

The waters are famous for the high concentration of hydrogen sulphide, chlorine, calcium and other beneficial elements.
In 2011, the place was declared a spa resort.

The Herculaneum Baths, a refuge where therapeutic waters and fresh air reign, are considered by tourists to be a corner of heaven where they can relax and heal both body and soul.

You can still admire the old buildings of the area that were built in the Baroque style where you can take a look at the historical past of the resort. Members of the royal family of the Habsburg Empire used to rest in these noble houses.
