The Orthodox Church from Cireşa
Religious monument
About
The church of Cireşa commune was originally made of wood. The exact circumstances in which this church disappeared are not known, but it is known that the current place of worship was built in 1821 and was consecrated for the first time in 1830.
Considering that the church became more and more inadequate, with the support of the local authorities, in 1995, an annex was built on the western side of the church, and today, this is where the epitropy of the church and the flags are located.
In 2006, the church was consecrated by PS Lucian, Bishop of Caransebeș.
