IOAN CRIŞAN, whose name the zoo in Reşita bears, was a biology teacher at Bastilia (the current "Diaconovici-Tietz" high school). In the 60s of the last century, when he was director of the high school, he established a mini-zoo in the yard of the institution, whose undisputed star was a bear.
