Distance: 5.3 km
Duration: 4 hours
Marking: Blue triangle
Degree of difficulty: Medium
If there is no means of transport to the entrance to the route on the national road 67 D, you can start from behind the Cerna Hotel, on Domogled street. From the spring of still water, you go down a narrow street to some concrete stairs, from here you go on the road and continue upstream until the intersection with the national road 67D. From this point it goes up, until the panel with some information about the national park and the starting point of the route.
Follow the blue cross marker to the White Cross (529 m). The route to the White Cross climbs in serpentines, the last part of it being narrower and can be a problem for those who are sick of heights. After the climb through the gorge, it doesn't take long to reach the Jelărău spring, near the spring there is also a gazebo, the right place for a stop in the peace of nature. From the pavilion to the left opens the rather difficult route to Vârful Şuşcu (1192 m).
