The Mountain Paradise in Summer
It's summer, it's warm and pleasant, the sunlight slips through the thick foliage of the trees, letting out a warm ray on the mountain path. Being in such a moment can be considered by some a guilty pleasure and by others, nothing more than the best way to let yourself be carried away by the magic of the mountain.

One of the most unique hikes – To the tunnels
It consists of a route during which a number of 7 tunnels are crossed. Among these tunnels, some are shorter in the form of a vault, and others are longer that reach even 40 meters.
According to the locals, the tunnels would have been dug in the rock during the Ottoman occupation with the aim of making the passage through the area much easier for locals and soldiers.
To cross the long tunnels, it is recommended to use a flashlight in order not to avoid possible accidents because the road is paved with earth and rock. The tunnels are located along the rock wall at an average height of 15 meters above the Nera Valley.
The route can be followed from Podul Bei, the place from which several routes start through Cheile Nerei but also from the locality of Sasca Română. The route is marked with red tape and takes about 2 hours round trip.

Cheile Nerei National Park is a protected area of national interest, located on the southwestern border of the country, in Caraș-Severin county. It is considered to be a symbol of nature with a special significance due to the value of the tourist attractions it houses.
Located on the Cheile Minișului, the Bigăr Waterfall is between the localities of Anina and Bozovici, in the Cheile Nerei National Park. Access is on a paved road with a parking lot and then follow a road to the waterfall, which is a few meters from the DN57B road, near the "Paralela 45" sign.
Another marked trail that is located nearby allows you to climb up to the Bigăr spring and then reach the Bigăr Cave. The journey time from the waterfall to the cave is 10-15 minutes.

The route to Văioaga Waterfall, Ochiul Beiului Lake and Beușnița Waterfall is a very well-known and appreciated route. It is well marked and demarcated, and the hike starts from Podul Beiului where you pay the entrance fee to the park and where you can park your car. Continue on a road to the Văioaga waterfall, after which you reach the clearing near the trout farm, where a camping site is set up.
Then, passing the trout farm to the left, you can follow the route to Lake Beiului, which takes around 45 minutes and another half an hour to Beuşniţa Waterfall.
